Professor Chris Andrew (Corpus Christi College, Cambridge) – ‘The CIA and US Intelligence: the view from Moscow and London
Christopher Andrew is Professor of Modern and Contemporary History, former Chair of the Faculty of History at Cambridge University and chair of the British Intelligence Study Group. He has served as MI5’s official historian and in 2009 he published The Defence of the Realm: The Authorized History of MI5 (Penguin 2009). The world’s premier intelligence historian, his works include Secret Service: The Making of the British Intelligence Community (William Heinemann, 1985); For The President’s Eyes Only: Secret Intelligence and the American Presidency from Washington to Bush (HarperCollins, 1995) and the two volume study The Mitrokhin Archive (2003 and 2005). He has also presented radio and television documentaries.
