How to Write Successful Grant Proposals

Speaker: Dr Anthony Woods

Dr Anthony Woods has accepted a joint initiative by the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities and the Birkbeck Institute for Social Research to discuss successful grant applications. He directed funding for the history of medicine and the medical humanities at the Wellcome Trust for more than a decade. He will talk about how to write good grant applications and what funders are looking for. He will also provide insights into how applicants are assessed. He welcomes questions and discussion.
