The Wiener Library presents:

Antisemitism in Contemporary Europe: A Conversation between Deborah Lipstadt and Anthony Julius

This event launched a wider series of public talks and lectures on contemporary Antisemitism, organised by The Wiener Library, entitled ‘The New Jewish Question? The Holocaust, Israel, Antisemitism’.

Professor Deborah Lipstadt is professor of modern Jewish history and Holocaust studies at Emory University and the author of The Eichmann Trial and Denying the Holocaust.

Anthony Julius is a renowned specialist in media and defamation law. He successfully defended Deborah Lipstadt in the libel case brought by David Irving. He is Deputy Chairman at London law firm Mishcon de Reya. In 2011 he became Chairman of the Board at the Jewish Chronicle.

The lecture series was made possible through the generous support of Nimrod Capital.
