Dr Yossi BeilinThe Place of the Holocaust in the Life of the Post-war Generation in Israel

Dr. Yossi Beilin is a former member of the Knesset and was the chairman of Israel’s Meretz party between 2003-2008. He held ministerial positions in the governments of Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres and Ehud Barak. Beilin works with issues relating to Jewish continuity and relations between Israel and Diaspora Jewry, and is the founder of the ‘Birthright’ programme, which facilitated tens of thousands of Jews from across the world to go to Israel.
